The Story So Far
From humble beginnings in 1984, Padmavati Salt has grown into one of India’s most trusted names in salt production. What started as a modest 200 kg/day operation has evolved into a large-scale enterprise with a production capacity of 2.5 lakh MT per annum.
This remarkable journey, guided by the vision of our founder Late Mr. Anokhilal R. Jain, reflects decades of perseverance, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to purity. His values continue to shape the way we work — with honesty, excellence, and responsibility at our core.
Today, with a strong presence across 12 states in India, Padmavati Salt is proud to be a name synonymous with quality, consistency, and trust. We don’t just produce salt — we uphold a legacy, empower communities, and aim to make a meaningful impact through every grain we deliver.
Milestones That Define Us
1984
Our story began in 1984, with a modest production of just 200 kg of salt a day. It was a small step driven by a big vision—to bring pure, high-quality salt to every home.
1998
In 1998, under the guidance of Late Mr. Anokhilal R. Jain, our vision truly began to take shape. His unwavering commitment became the foundation on which our journey continued to grow.
2004
In 2004, we established a state-of-the-art covered warehouse for raw materials with a capacity of 10,000 tons. This was the first covered warehouse in the industry, marking a revolutionary step towards quality, safety, and reliability in material storage.
2008
In 2008, we established a refined salt refinery with state-of-the-art machinery, setting new benchmarks for quality, purity, and efficiency in the industry.
2010
In 2010, we set up a modern Free Flow Salt Plant designed to produce high-quality, free-
flowing salt. This innovation ensured better texture, improved packaging, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
2025
In 2025, we introduced Hira Rock Salt and Black Salt, setting a new benchmark in the rock salt market. Recognized as 100% pure, these products have quickly become the finest in their category.
2024
In 2024, Tablet Salt was added to our production line, diversifying our product range. This innovation opened new opportunities in the wellness and specialty salt markets.
2023
In 2023, we launched Pharma Grade Salt, adhering to the highest purity and safety standards. This step marked our entry into the pharmaceutical sector, delivering trust and reliability.

By 2018, the plant’s production capacity was doubled to 20,000 tons per month. This milestone strengthened our ability to meet growing demand while maintaining consistent quality.
